Feed Me is finally back. After staying relatively quiet for over a year, today he released a new EP titled Family Reunion that makes some serious noise.
Always making new sounds that stand out from the trends of the time, Family Reunion shows that Feed Me is still a singular artist that has what it takes to be considered one of the best producers in the game. This new EP showcases a pretty diverse range of sounds and styles that aims to have a little something for everyone. Long time Feed Me fans won’t be disappointed as each track has that signature Feed Me style mixed in, while new listeners are sure to find something they enjoy.
Some personal highlights include:
High Speed Weekend Survivor – The first track on the EP, this 7 minute starter feels very much as if Feed Me had been listening to a lot of Deadmau5 during its production.
Red Clouds (Serious Ting) – A seriously heavy tune that throws back to the old Feed Me sound that made me a fan in the first place.
What it Feels Like – Feed Me ventures into the pop genre. This track probably isn’t for the heavy music or old Feed Me fans, but might be something worth checking out if you’re into the lighter stuff.
Schizoid – A song that earns its name by seamlessly blending what sound like multiple different tracks into one weird ride.
